Well, hello again. I hope you all are having a great week. I?€™ve been really busy in the studio. I started my week on Monday at a studio called Sound Control, playing for a guy who sounded like Elvis. Yesterday, we started working on a new project for Crossway. Those guys are awesome, and they have some killer songs on this new album. Today was a really good day because I worked at probably the premier studio in Nashville. Blackbird Recording Studio is owned by John and Martina McBride. We worked with Rick Trevino on his upcoming project.
Tomorrow, I will work all day in the studio, and then I will go watch Parker?€™s baseball game before I leave for Michigan. Speaking of Parker, please keep him in your prayers. We think he may have strep throat. He feels awful, and of course, Mommy and Daddy feel awful because he feels awful.
Samantha auditioned for the Sound of Music at her school this week. We are so proud that she actually did it. She gets a little shy sometimes, so we weren?€™t for sure whether she would audition or not. Thankfully, she did really great, and she gets to go back in a couple of weeks and go through the final audition.
My beautiful wife is truly a trooper. Everytime any of us is involved in something, she is getting us there. She is so awesome!
I am so enjoying being home this evening. I have not had many nights at home lately, and it is so good just to spend quality time with my wife and kids, even if some of it had to be spent watching American Idol. I never really got in to it until this year, and it is only because of Parker and Samantha that I started watching it. Oh well, if it makes them happy?€?.
Well, I will sign off for now. I need to see if I can help the Braves score six runs so we can catch up with the Marlins. I look forward to keeping in touch with all of you.

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. I would love to meet the person who came up with the word BLOG! 
Anyway, I had a great weekend out on the tour this weekend. We had great concerts in Syracuse and in London, Ontario. Not only have I been made to feel welcome by the Homecoming artists and crew, but also by all of the wonderful people who have taken the time to come by our product table to say hello and offer words of encouragement. Making new friends is so much fun!
I consider it a great honor to be a part of the Homecoming Tour, and I am so thankful to be doing what I love the most with some of the greatest people in gospel music. Truly, it's like one big happy family out there!
As much fun as we have, one of my favorite things is coming home. It's always so good to hug on my wife and kids after being gone for a weekend.
It will be a long hard week in the studio for me, but on Thursday night I'll be ready to get back on the RV and head for Michigan!
