On Saturday, May 5, Gloria Gaither...
Today...

When Bill and Gloria began writing songs more than four decades ago, they wrote out of their own daily circumstances and questions. The songs seemed to ring true to people from all walks of life, probably because so many humans share the same questions and challenges no matter who they are or where they live. Over the years, the impact of their songs went far beyond their wildest imagination.
Most recently, the January/February 2012 issue of National Geographic Traveler included an article written by Boyd Matson who wrote about a remote mountainous region of northeast India known as Nagaland, which was once entrenched in a violent culture of conflict and filled with savage headhunters. Now, decades after missionaries came to the area those warriors have literally buried their hatchets. Many began to follow Christ and now it is not unusual for the voices of our very own Gaither Vocal Band to ring out from the village’s primitive huts!
