The renowned country band ALABAMA is comprised of three cousins from Fort Payne, Alabama: Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook.  Since they first got their start in 1969, they have received every award and accolade a country artist could dream of, with more than 40 number one songs, 2 Grammies, dozens of music industry awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.  But all that success only proved that the hymns and gospel songs they grew up singing in church are still as important today as they were decades ago.  

Alabama’s latest CD, Angels Among Us, was released by Gaither Music Group in 2014 and immediately debuted at Number 6 in Billboard’s country music charts and became a 2014 bestseller at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® locations across North America.  

Since America loved this gospel collection, Bill [Gaither] recently stopped by their hometown of Ft. Payne, Alabama, to interview these country icons and capture live performances of the songs from their new CD for DVD.  Filmed at Jeff Cook’s former residence, now an event venue known as Cook Castle, this DVD provides a rare inside look into the life, hearts and music of this iconic country band plus a beautiful live concert of these gospel favorites.
