A heartfelt a capella tribute to the timeless songs of Bill & Gloria Gaither — available November 21 from Gaither Music Group

NASHVILLE, TN — Heralded for their signature harmonies and decades of musical excellence, GRAMMY®-nominated trio The Martins release their new a cappella album, This Is The Time I Must Sing, available November 21st via Gaither Music Group. The project is now available on all digital platforms, and the CD/DVD is available as well.  

On this soul-stirring collection, siblings Joyce, Jonathan, and Judy Martin showcase their unmistakable vocal blend through fresh, heartfelt arrangements of some of Bill & Gloria Gaither’s most beloved songs. Featuring classics such as “Because He Lives,” “I Will Serve Thee,” “Gentle Shepherd,” and the title track “This Is The Time I Must Sing,” the album honors the songs of Bill & Gloria Gaither. 

“Recording this project brought back so many memories of where our journey began,” says The Martins. “From small-town churches to the biggest stages, the message has never changed. In this album we wanted to honor Bill and Gloria and say thank you for these songs that are both relevant for listeners today and timeless for generations to come.”
 

The Martins remarkable journey began in 1992 when, at the urging of Gaither artists, Michael English and Mark Lowry, Gloria Gaither first heard the group’s impromptu audition before a Gaither Homecoming videotaping in Indiana. That unforgettable moment launched a career that has since taken the trio from Gaither’s award-winning Homecoming Series to Carnegie Hall and even The White House. 

Over the years, The Martins have achieved 5, #1 radio singles, 8 Dove Awards, and 3 GRAMMY® nominations. Billboard magazine once described them as “breaking down walls and blurring the lines that separate Southern gospel from inspirational, adult contemporary, and other popular Christian music formats.” Their distinctive sound — known simply as “Martin Music” — continues to inspire audiences across generations.
