More Than 250 Gospel Artists Unite for Landmark Gaither Music Group Album and Television Special

NASHVILLE (March 27, 2026) – Today, on the eve of Bill Gaither’s 90th birthday, Gaither Music Group releases I Go to the Rock, a powerful new Homecoming recording that captures a remarkable gathering of more than 250 artists brought together by Bill and his wife, Gloria, last fall for one of the largest Homecoming tapings in the Gaithers’ storied history. Filmed during an all-day event at TBN Studios in Hendersonville, Tennessee, the performances are now available on CD and DVD.

Hosted by GRAMMY-winning Gospel icons Bill and Gloria Gaither, I Go to the Rock celebrates the enduring message of faith and hope at the heart of Gospel music. The recording brings together songs and voices that have shaped generations, reflecting the spirit of the Homecoming gatherings that continue to connect artists and audiences today.

“To stand shoulder to shoulder in praise and song with over 250 artists was awe-inspiring,” said Bill Gaither. “Vocal performances included Gospel pioneers who helped build this family of singers and musicians, along with new vocal talent delivering this music and message to the next generation. It was a special day for Gloria and me.”

The milestone taping brought together celebrated performers including the Gaither Vocal Band, Sandi Patty, The Martins, The Isaacs, Chris Blue, Jason Crabb, David Phelps, Angela Primm and many others. The gathering united both legendary voices and rising talents from across Gospel, Christian and country music, creating an atmosphere of fellowship, celebration and shared devotion.

Produced with the signature warmth and musical excellence of the Gaither Homecoming series, the recording blends intricate musical arrangements with the intimacy and joy that have made the Homecoming gatherings beloved worldwide. Highlights include a stirring a cappella rendition of “Amazing Grace” led by Sonya Isaacs; Chris Blue, Jason Crabb and Angie Primm leading the audience through a powerful performance of “I Go to the Rock;” and a special spoken-word segment by Gloria Gaither.

The event also featured classic hymns and Gospel favorites including “Where Could I Go,” “Just As I Am” and a deeply moving rendition of “Sweet Beulah Land,” written by the late Squire Parsons and performed by his son Sam Parsons — a moment that captured the spirit of faith and legacy at the heart of the gathering.

One of the album’s standout performances is “Bread Upon the Water,” written by Bill Gaither and Janny Grein and originally recorded by the Gaither Vocal Band on their 2006 album Give It Away. This new interpretation features current Gaither Vocal Band vocalist Wes Hampton alongside GVB alumnus Marshall Hall, joined by Michael Booth, Ronnie Booth, Ernie Haase, and Dustin Doyle. The soulful performance blends powerful solo moments with vibrant ensemble harmonies.

I Go to the Rock is available now as an audio album, full-length DVD and television special. The program will air on TBN, RFD-TV, The Word Network, Vision, TCT, The Walk TV, TLN, Hope TV, The Miracle Channel, CTS, CTN and Heartland.

A radio special will premiere on SiriusXM Radio, and songs from the project will also be featured on Bill Gaither’s SiriusXM enLighten channel (Channel 150).

The full-length project will also be available to steam at Gaither TV+ or purchase the DVD and CD at Gaither.com. Purchase or stream the project  here.
