Oh Mark - you better watch your steps -= I fell halfway down our basement steps and now I hold on for my dear life. It just happens, but I know you will be up-and-about and healed before the end of summer. Maybe this was a blessing!????? And, you need some down-time. Just do what the doctors tells you and relax and watch all of the "Old TV Programs" that you might remember from your younger days.
God will heal you in his own time. Love, from an old person who loves you and has enjoyed all of your antics(sps?). Tell Bill to give you time to enjoy the time off that you need. Nallisonwhiteside from Hinsdale, IL

Oh No! Not again! I hope the letters of encouragement and love your fans, friends & family are sending will buoy you up as you heal. You're the one who makes us laugh so I'm thinking we can return the favor and encourage you for a change. This has to be a hard thing to endure. We're all sending you a big group hug and praying that God will heal you quickly so you can get back to doing what you love! (One day you will turn this into another of your great stories and make us all laugh about it, but I imagine that time is far out there). In the meantime, take care--we love you!

Sorry to hear that. Hope it heals fast and you are back to your normal schedule.
Mark, my Mother and I are so very sorry to hear about your broken leg. I know it is painful. God is good and He is going to heal you in record time, and you are going to be able to use this experience to His glory. I believe. All God's blessings for you and those who are taking care, fetching, and keeping company with you in this time of healing. I want you to think about Red Skelton, I have wonderful memories of him and his comedy, and his tv show. You have so many gestures that remind me of Red Skelton, it is a compliment, a blessed gift, and a warm fuzzy memory for me. hugs from Texas, look forward to meeting you in March. Sorry to hear about your accident. Hope it wasn't your leg you broke before. God bless you and keep hanging in there. I have been told there are things that happen for a reason. We just have to trust the Lord. We just recently lost our beloved cat of 15 yrs after a pit bull attacked her. Take care and "God Bless You" love your music and comedy.Wish I could see your concerts but I live too far in the Midwest to get anywhere and I take care of my elderly mother.

So sorry to learn of your accident. May the Lord be with you as you heal. I'd make you some chicken soup if I lived near you. God bless you.
So sorry about your injury, Mark. Praying for patience and a complete recovery. I know that therapy can get pretty tedious and tiring sometimes. LOVE YOU, get back on your feet and in the groove ASAP. Good thing you're a non-dancing Baptist, you won't be inclined to re-injure that leg!!

Praying for you Mark for a speedy and excellent recovery with as little pain as possible. I broke my right femur while playing agressive volly ball some years back, so I know the long road to recovery. Praying that your humor and love of the Lord & life will sustain you along with a load of good friends to cheer you to the finish-line! May His peace and JOY be your's in full measure.
Hey Mr. Lowry,

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's injury!!! Recovery from a broken femur can be long and painful. My son did the same thing and, like Mark, he has a very positive outlook but it was several weeks before he could function again. I will add Mark to my prayer list!!! God Bless!
