Do I need to create a new account?

If you had a fan club membership with the previous, you may log in with your username or email address and the same password that you used on the previous site.

If you did not have a fan club membership, but were a member of the Gaither Community, you should have received an email about logging in to reset your password.  If you did not receive this email, please use the contact form at the bottom of to request a password reset.  Please be sure and clarify the email address that is associated with the account that you had.

I did not have a membership or a free community account.  How do I create an account?

If you would like to purchase a membership, you may do so at Once you have filled out the required form an email will be sent to your inbox to complete the account set-up process. You must verify your email address by clicking on the link provided in the email. Your account will not be processed and functioning until this verification is complete. If you do not receive the verification email please check in any Junk/Spam folders. Also, please be sure to add to your address book or safe list to insure you receive further communications about your account.

If you are looking to create a free community account to interact on, click on the vertical “Member Login” button on the left side of the page.  This will take you to the “Hub” where you can click on “Create An Account” and from there you will be able to join the community.

I logged in, now I want to change my username/password/account information.

If you would like to change your username, password, or other account information, you may click the down arrow next to your profile at the very top of the and select “Edit MCN Hub Profile”.  This will take you to the Hub, where you can edit your information and save it.

How do I add a profile picture or change my profile information?

This is easily done using the “Edit Profile” feature.  Clicking on the down arrow next to your username brings up a small menu.  You can click on “Edit Profile” to be able to change and add a lot of fun information about yourself to your account.

Interacting In The New Community

Getting to know your way around

The first thing you will notice after logging in is a black bar at the top of  This bar shows your notifications, if you have any, in a box with a number in it indicating the number of notifications.  You will also see “+Share”; this allows you to share content and update your status to your profile. 

Next to your username, you will see a down arrow that you can use to navigate to view your profile, edit your profile information, see your messages and logout.

How do I post content?

You can update your status, post a picture, post a video and write a blog from anywhere on by clicking on “+Share” in your social bar at the top of the screen.

You can also share content by clicking on “Community” in the navigation menu to go straight to the Community feed.  Currently, the feed shows posts made directly to the feed as well as posts made in Groups.

How do I join a Group?

You can join a group by clicking “Join” next to the Group you wish to join.

How do I create a Group?

You can create a new Group by clicking on the “Add Group” button.  This button can be found as the fourth icon in the same place where you can update your status, upload a photo, video and blog.

How do I leave a Group?

If you wish to leave a Group, you can click on the “My Groups” button above the “Groups” column on the left side of the page.  This will take you to a page that shows only the groups that you are a member of.  If you click on “Edit Membership”, you can leave the Group.

How do I see my friend requests?

The number of notifications that you have will show up as a number in the social bar at the top of the screen.  Click it to see your friend requests.

How do I add someone as a friend?

If you hover your mouse over someone’s profile picture, a black box will come up with their information.  This will allow you to friend someone or send them a PM (Private Message).

How do I find my friends?

You may search for your friends by entering their username in the search box entitled "Find Your Friends" on the community page here: 

Other Ways To Interact While Logged In To

While logged in to your account, there are many other things that you can do as well.  Below are a few of that you may find fun and interesting!

Are you going to see a concert this year? Find the concert on the “Tour/Tickets” page.  If you are logged in to your account and click on the date you will be attending, you can click on the “Are You Going?” button to show other members that visit the page that you will be at the concert!  You can also write a comment on the concert.

Is there a picture you really like in the Photo Gallery?  You can comment on this as well by clicking on the “View and Add Comments” text at the bottom of the photo in the gallery.

Did you view a video that you really enjoyed? While watching one of the videos in the “Video” section, you can leave comments there as well by clicking on the “Add Comment” text to the right of the video.
