Dove Award nominations were announced Wednesday, August 21, by the Gospel Music Association, and we are grateful to learn that numerous Gaither Music Group artists and recordings have been nominated this year!

GAITHER VOCAL BAND
The Gaither Vocal Band’s Pure And Simple CD is nominated for Southern Gospel Album of the Year (Bill Gaither, Ben Isaacs, Michael English, David Phelps, producers).
The Gaither Vocal Band’s song, “Greatly Blessed, Highly Favored” (written by Larry Gatlin and Bill Gaither) was nominated for Song of the Year.
“Glorious Freedom” by the Gaither Vocal Band (written by Harold Lillenas, Alfred Judson, arrangement by the Gaither Vocal Band) is nominated for Southern Gospel Song of the Year and Southern Gospel Performance of the Year (Bill Gaither, Ben Isaacs, Michael English, David Phelps, producers).
“Come To Jesus” from by the Gaither Vocal Band (written by Mindy Smith) is nominated for Bluegrass Song of the Year.
DAVID PHELPS
David Phelps’s Classic CD is nominated for Inspirational Album of the Year (David Phelps and Bill Gaither, producers).
“The Dream” by David Phelps on Classic is nominated for Contemporary Christian Performance of the Year (Bill Gaither, David Phelps, producers).
THE BOOTH BROTHERS
The Booth Brothers’ A Tribute to the Songs of Bill and Gloria Gaither CD is nominated for Southern Gospel Album of the Year (Nick Bruno, Ronnie Booth, Michael Booth, Jim Brady, producers).
JASON CRABB
Jason Crabb’s Love is Stronger recording is nominated for Inspirational Album of the Year (Jay DeMarcus, Ed Cash, Wayne Haun, producers).
“What The Blood is For” by Jason Crabb (written by Ronnie Freeman, Tony Wood) is nominated for Song of the Year, Southern Gospel Performance of the Year, and Southern Gospel Song of the Year (Jay DeMarcus, Ed Cash, Wayne Haun, producers).
“Satisfied” by Jason Crabb (written by Tony Wood, Ronnie Freeman) is nominated for Inspirational Song of the Year.
“God’s Up to Something” by Jason Crabb (written by Terry Allen Dennis, Garret W. Parris) is nominated for Country Song of the Year.
THE ISAACS
“Why Can’t We” by The Isaacs (written by Rebecca Isaacs Bowman, Sonya Isaacs, Jimmy Yeary) is nominated for Song of the Year, and Southern Gospel Performance of the Year (Ben Isaacs, producer).
BEN ISAACS is also nominated for Producer of the Year!
GUY PENROD
Guy Penrod’s Hymns recording is nominated for Country Album of the Year (Guy Penrod, Pete Greene, producers).
“Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” by Guy Penrod (written by Elisha Hoffman and Anthony J. Showalter) is nominated for Country Song of the Year.
THE OAK RIDGE BOYS
The Oak Ridge Boys’ Back Home Again is nominated for Country Album of the Year (Ben Isaacs, producer).
“Standing in the Need Prayer” by The Oak Ridge Boys is nominated for Bluegrass Song of the Year. (Traditional, Arr. by Duane Allen, Joe Bonsall, William Lee Golden, Richard Sterban & Ben Isaacs.)
“I Get To” by The Oak Ridge Boys (written by Sherrie Austin, Steven J. Williams, Wil Nance) is nominated for Country Song of the Year.
