Country Music Duo Tops New Artist Album Charts, Makes TV Appearances and Announces Tour Dates

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 1, 2024) — It’s been a triumphant first week for Wilson Fairchild and their new album, Statler Made, out now via Gaither Music Group. The album shot up to #1 on the Top New Artist Albums charts and landed in the Top 10 (#9) on the Current Country Album charts. The country music duo also landed on the Billboard chart for the first time, opening at #39 on Top Current Albums and #22 on Emerging Artists.Wilson Fairchild also made impactful television show appearances across numerous networks, and they are now adding tour dates. Wilson Fairchild’s 12-track collection honors their roots as sons of the Statler Brothers’ Don Reid and Harold Reid while injecting new life into country and gospel classics. Statler Made is an album that reaches across generations, pleasing fans of evergreen roots music while sharing with a new audience American classics they may never have heard before. 

Last week the guys popped into the beloved WSM morning show, “Coffee, Country & Cody,” featuring Country Music Disc Jockey Hall of Famer, Grand Ole Opry announcer and affable television personality Bill Cody. Cody also hosts Wilson Fairchild’s new DVD and TV special, which will re-air on multiple networks the week of April 13. Performance videos from this filming are currently releasing on the Gaither Music TV YouTube channel to its 3 million-plus subscribers. The guys also stopped by for an appearance at RFD-TV, the nation’s first TV station to focus on rural America.

Cousins Langdon Reid and Wil Reid (sons of the Statler Brothers’ Don Reid and Harold Reid, respectively) of Wilson Fairchild have been playing music together for 20-plus years. They grew up producing their own records and booking their own shows. Statler Made is a defining album in that it explores the music the guys grew up loving through their distinct blend of country and gospel musicality. It was recorded at Nashville’s Treasure Isle Studio and produced by Michael Sykes and Johnny Minick.
